A General Euclidean Geometric Representation for the Classical Detection Theory

چکیده
Abstract—We propose an Euclidean geometric representation for the classical detection theory. The proposed representation is so generic that can be employed to almost all communication problems. The hypotheses and observations are mapped into R in such a way that a posteriori probability of an hypothesis given an observation decreases exponentially with the square of the Euclidean distance between the vectors corresponding to the hypothesis and the observation.

A representation for some groups, a geometric approach
In the present paper, we are going to use geometric and topological concepts, entities and properties of the integral curves of linear vector fields, and the theory of differential equations, to establish a representation for some groups on $R^{n} (ngeq 1)$. Among other things, we investigate the surjectivity and faithfulness of the representation. At the end, we give some app...
متن کاملGeometric Moments in Scale-Spaces
In this paper we present a generalization of geometric moments in scale-spaces derived from the general heat diffusion equation, with a particular interest for the min/max flow. As an application of those theoretical developments, two multiscale moments are used to enhance the classical Euclidean registration process. They are computed from a multiscale representation which preserves the global...
متن کاملStrong convergence of a general implicit algorithm for variational inequality problems and equilibrium problems and a continuous representation of nonexpansive mappings
We introduce a general implicit algorithm for finding a common element of the set of solutions of systems of equilibrium problems and the set of common fixed points of a sequence of nonexpansive mappings and a continuous representation of nonexpansive mappings. Then we prove the strong convergence of the proposed implicit scheme to the unique solution of the minimization problem on the so...

In this paper we try to formulate the Berezin quantization on projective Hilbert space P(H) and use its geometric structure to construct a correspondence between a given classical theory and a given quantum theory. It wil be shown that the star product in berezin quantization is equivalent to the Posson bracket on coherent states manifold M, embodded in P(H), and the Berezin method is used to...
متن کاملSpatial Analysis in curved spaces with Non-Euclidean Geometry
The ultimate goal of spatial information, both as part of technology and as science, is to answer questions and issues related to space, place, and location. Therefore, geometry is widely used for description, storage, and analysis. Undoubtedly, one of the most essential features of spatial information is geometric features, and one of the most obvious types of analysis is the geometric type an...
